Positive

This might sounds cheesy and I know you guys might have came across this quote for hundred and thousand of times.

'Be positive and everything gonna be positive'

'Think positive and everything gonna be alright'

I have heard about this quote for soooo many times. But, have we, or you, ever take a second of your time, sit and think deeply about this quote? Recently, I see so many people keep complaining things.

I'm stress. I cannot do this. I hate my life. Why am I so stupid. I give up. Life is always unfair.

Yes, I also have my 'ugh I'm done with my life or WHY.ALWAYS.ME' time. But, as I went through it, surprisingly, I can do that!

You know, don't waste your time overthinking, crying and complaining about what had happened. Life is too short for that. Find a solution instead of whining. Fail for the first time, it's okay, try another solution, fail again, try again and again, until the problem solved. Life goes on. Time is gold, time is precious. Don't waste your time doing things that have zero benefits.

Positive thinking really does help people in so many ways. Positive thinking can overcome stress, insecurity, disappointment etc. I am a girl that has a very high insecurity level. I always feel that I am not good enough for everything. My appearance my work my business and all. But, how long I have to be like that, always live in the dark world that full of low confidence level, insecurity, worrying about things. Then, I realized, that attitude will not gonna change my life, not gonna solve my problem and not gonna change me to be a better me. I complained a lot about my life but rarely ever I thank Allah for all the things have done for me. I don't want to stay in such life. I need to help myself because no one gonna do that for me. Change, change and change. That is the only way to overcome it. Think that you can do that, reward yourself if you have achieve something although it is just a small thing. Start step by step. One thing at a time and focus.

When bad things suddenly hit you, that doesn't mean that it's already at the end of the world. Learn to let go of something in your past, of something that is just an unimportant distraction or of trying to control what you cannot control. It can free up huge amounts of the energy and the time you have to use for something better and more fulfilling. When you worry about what others may think or say if you do something, remind yourself that the truth is that people don’t really care that much about what you do or not do. Bad things will always happen, but it’s how we manage it.

Always remember this:
If you are grateful, I would certainly give to you more, and if you are ungrateful, My chastisement is truly severe (Ibrahim, verse 7).

Sometimes, Allah might send a storm into your life, not to hurt you, but to heal you.

It is not always easy. But it can be life-changing.

Forever Runs

Past two months, I joined a run event organised by Mara German Malaysian Institute in Bangi. It was a 5km run started from 7am till 11am. That was my first run event of this year after a looooooong break since summer. That place was a huge space with less trees and many stalls and I already can imagine how hot the weather I'm gonna bear with.

Me, and my other 4 housemates depart from our house in Semenyih after Subh. Semenyih and GMI is quite near, our journey was about 15mins to arrive there. When we arrived, there were so many cars and people and most of them are Malay students. After parked my car, we went straight to the registration counter and they gave us shirt, milo, gardenia sambal bilis bread and mineral water. Since we were wearing our own shirt, we had to change it to the provided shirt. The place was quite huge that took some of our time to search the toilet.

Right after we changed our shirt, warming up session started. I sweat a lot during the session because the movement was quite vigorous with some Japanese songs. The theme was Raku-raku run which I don't know what is the meaning. I do know raku is six in Japanese but its kinda weird when translated to English which is "six-six run" haha whatever. So yeah, everything was in Japanese.

It took half an hour for the warming up session and then we started to run. During the run, there were some obstacles for us to get through. Splashed by water and color powders (again). Luckily I left my watch and phone at the campus before run.

It was damn scorching hot.You can't imagine how happy I was when I saw the 5km mark. I was already tired and sweaty and thirsty. All I wanted was just that freaking medal, certificate and finish quickly so that I can sit down and drink under a big tree.

By the time I arrived the finishing line, it was at 9am. Not really crowded. The vip gave me medal and one of my friend that do not join us for the run took some of my pictures. I grabbed my mineral water and sit down waiting for the others.

After that, there were also lucky draw and price ceremony session for the selfie competition. I'm not taking any selfie while running because i did not bring my phone so no price for me. Knowing that I always have no luck for the lucky draw session, then decided to just go back home. I was exhausted when I got home and immediately sleep after I showered and Zuhr prayed. Woke up with sore body and legs in the afternoon to perform my Asr prayer. Gosh it took 3days for me to fully recover from the sore.

Thats all, till the next post! x

Bedroom Tour

It's currently 11.14PM and I'm just done with my online usrah with the team about an hour ago. Today as usual, busy-every-seconds and night is the only time for me to rest. I actually planned to continue read some research papers as preparation for my upcoming FYP which I really worried about. But then, the feeling of excitement to start reading still didn't come so I decided to blog. Recently, I have received some request from my followers on instagram regarding my room tour. Fortunately, I'd do some spring cleaning few days ago before I went to my campus for the internship programme. I have also took some pictures of my room. My room is a small room but it takes few days to clean it. I started from the closet, makeups drawer, bags, books and so on until every single part of my room. Spring cleaning my room especially my closet makes me realized how wasteful I am haha. Who buys the same color of shirt for 3 pieces without realizing it?? haha I was so regret of that. So can you imagine how many boxes of clothes I donate and some of them I also sell on my Carousell. Haih will not doing the same thing anymore after this ( I hope haha) Finally, after done spring cleaning my room, everything looks very clean and organised! You know that feeling when you are in a very clean and organised bedroom especially there is only things that you need in the room. The feeling of satisfaction 😇

So, since my room is kinda tidy and clean (for now), and since I've took some pictures of it, here's the tour of my little room :

My room was not that big, but still my style ; bright, cozy, simple and minimal.

This is the first that you'll see when you open the door and step in.

I have been staying in this room since I was 11 so its a bit classic because my parents chose and bought the furniture. My closet is old already but still in a good condition except the front part, a little broken because I'm too violent haha. The two bag packs beside my closet are my all-time-used bag packs. The black Adidas is for travelling and sometimes I bring it to class if I need to bring my laptop. The nude brown handbag is the handbag that I always bring to events. Its from Zalora. Oh there is also another one handbag which is my fav bag that I always bring to my everyday class, and its from mango. (I forgot to take the picture, if you noticed, the bag will always in my instagram picture when I'm ootd around my campus area) Next, the carpet is the place where I perform my solat.

My bed is a queen size bed. The lamp hanging on the bed frame is given by my friend during my birthday. I also always change my bed sheet and most of them are in nature color (my fav color). I have only two pillows and one bolster. I don't like too many pillows and teddy bears etc. So if anyone wanna buy me something for any special occasion, teddy bear is always a no-no. I put the small Al-Quran on the small desk beside my bed so that easier for me to grab and read it after solat or whenever I want to read it. The small Al-Quran was given by my brother when he went to one of the bookstore in KL. awh how sweet he is, right? 💕

Someone asked me what books I always put on my bookcase in my bedroom:

I only put the books that I always read or going to read because I place all my books at the study room at ground floor, I study at the study room and my bedroom is just for me to sleep and relax so there's only few books in my bedroom. Some of the Al-Quran was given by people, and the only Al-Quran that my mom bought for me is the blue one and the terjemahan tajwid Al-Quran when I was 9. Oh and the kejadian science mengikut Al-Quran also bought by my mom.

The upper part is a bit messy since I missed this part but whatever haha.

The picture was taken few years ago when I got sponsored by Majalah Remaja for the release of Descendant's movie and the other one was taken when I was 5, I guess.

When you stare at the ceiling (like I always do haha). You'll see this ;

The brightness came from the lamp plus the sunlight.

I always hang my notts sweater behind the door so that easy for me to go out wearing it when I'm in my short sleeves shirt.

Of course, Ivy and me also wanted to be in the photo hahaha.

I do have this urge to change my bed sheet into more plain neutral color (like brown and white), change the curtain into white color curtain with some classic pattern on it, change the small table, makeup & book shelf and closet into all white furniture. Maybe I'll do that for my next year raya. But the furniture, not in the near future, things are getting more expensive and maybe I'll do it on my future owned house haha. But, if I do have make some changes, I'll definitely let you know via my blog!

Oh anyway, I place all my makeup stuffs, toiletries and stationary in the wardrobe of my bookcase place.

Okay I should probably start to read those research papers back, have been spending so much time on blogging. Oh and I'm extremely excited for my next Uni programme. I've been chosen to be one of the ambassador of my uni! Its next week and I've been given some tasks. My tasks are more to the event planning stuffs since I have the experience of being event manager so they allocate me for that part. But the most scary thing is I. Need. To. Handle. The. International. Lecturers. and at first I thought I'll be handling the students like omg idk why I always need to handle the most important people for every event. huh pray for me, everyone 😓

I'll update you regarding the event soon! Weekend is coming so, have a nice weekend all! 💗

little Ivy

As an 'instagram addict girl', camera is the most important item in my life. I mean, you have got no idea how I really love when it comes to photoshoot session, except when comes to the time that I'm in my disaster outfit la. Everyone knows about that especially my family! My mom told me that this is really my hobby since I was kid! . But you know, I got this gene from my mom! My makcik told me that my mom was also an 'ootd-crazy-girl' years ago when she was at my age. So, not surprisingly, I'm just like this.

Few years ago, when my dad came back from Singapore, he suddenly gave me this little black cutie camera brand Olympus Stylus. Weird, because its a sudden, we never talk about buying a new camera before. I mean, I already have mine, errr, the TWO nonfunctional cameras actually haha. You know, how I managed my stuffs, everything can only survive for only one year (the longest). So, I gave up and decided to only use my Iphone for pictures. But, this time, my dad told me that this would be THE LAST and hence, I need to take care of this camera wholeheartedly, not going to waste any money on cameras anymore haha.

Ok, so, without talking any longer, I have some reviews on this camera and the details:

1) The camera has good quality pictures from a very light and compact camera. Ideal for a day out anywhere!
2) The camera also comes with the Photo Story function, which captures multiple viewpoints of a single scene.
3) It is also equipped with an image stabilization system that mechanically compensates for camera roll along the optical axis as well as angular shake wuuu.
4) Super zoom, lots of programs that should keep you happy.
5) Very easy to set up and easy to use! Suitable for traveling!

That's it! I'm still learning on how to use it, so if I discovered something new, will definitely post it here! 😊

I would recommend this camera! Oh, before I ended my post, I would like to tell you guys that this camera got it name too! I named it Ivy. I don't know why but I just loves that name haha it comes to my mind suddenly so yeah.
Not to forget, the price is affordable too! So for those who still searching for camera, do try this. I hope some of you might found this posts helpful, and if you have any other recommended camera, do leave your comment too 😊
